No doubt LSU has to clean up some of the sloppy crap it did on offense.
But, other than for some fans, that's to be expected on the road for the first SEC game in a very hostile environment.
I don't have a doubt that after Mett fumbled the second time and the short field led to Aub only TD, Miles a-hole got tight. Still that didn't stop him from taking a few shots down the field.

At the same time, he was trying to keep from LSU beating LSU. They could have played 4 more quarters and if LSU doesn't give AU a short field, they probably still wouldn't score. That's a testament to our D.

The offense is a work in progress. Some good, some bad. This is a marathon not a sprint. We get a week off (townson) to work some more. Then on to the next big task, Fla at the swamp. Fans should prepare themselves now, it's going to be a slugfest. I figued as much going to Aub, although I thought we'd run away late and we didn't.
And Mett, while also a Work in progress, will only get better.

One thing that MUST happen is that our WR's have to hold onto the ball. That's been a very bad recurring theme so far.
The OL needs to improve, but you don't simply replace a guy as good as Faulk.

In 2 weeks we'll have a much better idea whether this AU game was a wakeup call or truly showed some weakness. Still make no mistake about it, our Defense and Special Teams can carry this team a LONG LONG way.
