Les should just have admitted to getting owned and this would've been put to rest

Yeah, it would have been nice if Miles would have just said, "ya know? I fricked up." However, that's not going to happen. Maybe through the backdoor when no one is looking, but he is not going to come out frontal and say it. That said, he still won 13 games last fall. JJ is FINALLY out of here (Thank God) so while the season might not be what we had last year, it should not be as frustrating as the last four years. It didn't take the NFL long to figure out that the boy wasn't pro material.

Would he still have called a doomed fullback power run on a key third and two?

Down by two scores in the 4th quarter you forgot to add. Also right into the strength of Alabama's defense. That's just good coaching right there.

But forget about all of that. We need to move on. Nothing to see here.

What's he supposed to say? You want him to throw the team under the bus,
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uh, "We did not execute" sounds just like that to me.

However, I would not expect him to throw JJ under the bus either. He may have been including himself in that statement, but something along the lines of being better prepared would have been in order.

That same game plan beat Bama the first time around. And completely crushed everyone else, including several teams that won just about every major bowl. Can't blame him for sticking with what had worked the entire year so spectacularly well.

This is proof that he didn't look at the game film of the BCS game!

That game plan produced 239 yards of offense. Defense and special teams are the only reason we won the first game.

You would think seeing how bad the offense performed in the first matchup, we would make some adjustments from game 1 to game 2.

Alabama made adjustments from game 1 to game 2. Worked out pretty good for them.

No the main difference was that unlike the first time around, the Bama kickers hit their field goals.

It was a combination of stubborn play calling and horrific execution. It's over. 2012 is ahead.
