Hard to imagine a guy walking away from what, 3.7 mil or so, top rate talent and facilities, etc to take a job in an admittedly pleasant place for about half the money.

The fact that he doesn't care what people who are invested in the program think is one of his major downfalls. We aren't criticizing just to be critical, we are because we LOVE the program. The idea that he is ignoring the very people who can make or break him just shows a lack of fundamental understanding of his position.

We went down that road already. Michigan NEVER offered Miles, he was quoted as saying such. They NEVER called him back, after he made his intentions known that he was open. They never responded, then douchebag Herbie had to mess everything up and then came the 'have a great day' speech. If Herbie had kept his mouth shut we might have had a shot at getting rid of this guy.
