GrandDad, did you take your meds today? Clearly you aren't lucid.
Did you actually watch the game today?
I don't necessarily agree with the post topic, but CUM was quite clearly outcoached today. But if CLM had coached the team that lost to Bama in the SECCG this afternoon, this place would be in ever-fricken melt down over the coaching.

what did we see from FL today??
unimaginative offense
soft zone defense
untimely penalties
poor tackling
team came out flat for 3rd quarter
You forgot to add this:
CLM's teams do this = shitty coaching
CUM's teams do this = Most Awesome Coaching Ever Next to Nick Saban's Coaching
also forgot to add this:
CLM's teams do it every fricking week
CUM's team did it ONCE

1. It was on the biggest stage where you expect a good coach to do well...
2. Miles wasn't even in that situation so it's really not even a comparison.

Miles would have called for a spike

Other than wishing we were there, it was kind of a treat to watch organized, creative game planning and coaching, and crisp, efficient execution. Sorry, but it was just better foot-ball than we are growing used to.

Once?
Keep moving those goal posts!
Did you watch any of Florida's games this year?
Please understand, I am not defending LSU's playing this year or CLM's coaching. I am only calling out the hypocrisy on this board. Florida looked like poorly warmed up shite several games this season, and their '06 championship was built on ugly wins. But that's cool, because CUM is an awesome coach, no matter how crappy his teams sometimes play, no matter how bad their losses sometimes are (losing to the same Michigan team that lost to App State anyone?), and and no matter how many ugly wins they manage.
Whatever.
This is the only time Florida has looked bad this ye...nope, can't say it with a straight face.
Edited to add: see my post above. CUM was outcoached badly today. If that had been LSU, this place would be in meltdown over CLM's gameplan, playcalling, decisions, etc.

No, half of our fan base are used to it and loving it and the rest of us are "negatigers"

Meyer just had a 22 game winning streak and has 2 National Titles
We can see it. But the others who think miles is such a good coach will never get it.

Every minute of it.
Let me get this straight. Since CUM got it handed to him today, and Miles played Bama closer a few weeks prior, than Miles must be > CUM. Right?

I thought he proved he was good when he won a NC without Tebow as a starting QB..i guess thats just me

the more success saban has at bama, the more some lsu fans are gonna want miles gone. sad, yet true.

Yeah, um, Meyer has beaten Miles two years in a row and three out of the last four.

Count me in as a smarty.
Wanted him out as soon as I saw him sprinting down the sidelines to call timeout after an LSU interception. Knew from that point forward he was in over his head.

Nope, I never said that. I asked the question because the "EPIC FAIL!!!" was in response to this:
quote:
meyer clearly got outcoached tonight. even he should admit it. their game plan on offense and defense was wrong; bama surprised them and the UF coaches had no answer. guess it happens to all coaches at times. difference is UF fans won't try to run Meyer off. i seriously think UF's offense needs a complete make over w/o tebow. looks like there's a new sheriff in town. the more success saban has at bama, the more some lsu fans are gonna want miles gone. sad, yet true.
Do you disagree that CUM was outcoached today?
Posted on 12/5/09 at 7:30 pm to LSU GrandDad
Couldn't agree with you more, it is a shame that LSU fans can not admit the fact that Les is a pretty good coach. Nick Saben is not coming back so let's rally around this program and its leader-Les Miles.
