forgot about that one. He is a dam strong recruiter. Also he is a good role model compared to some previously mentioned coaches. The kind of man players can look up to. He backs his players, doesn't throw them under the bus like some coaches (saben). He doesn't find reasons to pull a players schollership to make room on the roster because he oversigned like some coaches (one in particular just east of us who use to coach here)

I think one can say he is a damstrong recruiter if you base it on recruiting rankings.

Pretty sure his recruiting has benefited from the overall recent success of the program.Kids have wanted to play for LSU....We'll see if that same success continues.

lot of confidence in yourself. Where do you coach? Maybe you can apply if they have and opening.

he is stronger in integrity and morales than Saban or Meyers or Kiffen. He generally has a good feel seat of the pants feel for certain plays (with the obvious exception of this past Saturday) such as when to go for it on 4th down or throwing a pass into the endzone with little time left in the game to win the game for us all leading to a national championship.

You are talking about lucky crap that happened two years ago. Miles strong points are he recruits very well and hasn't gotten LSU on probation yet. After that its a struggle to think of any.

i don't think you can rank them 1-12, to many variables from season to season, but he would be in the top grouping a long with Nut, Meyers, and Saben. It's really not that I put him there, his creditals put him there. His record speaks for itself.

he made his own luck. Recently a study came out that showed that going for it on 4th down pays off more often than not. Miles was a head of the curve on this one. He had a feel for it. He knew his team was driving that his o-line was winning the battles and that Hester was running hard and Miles kept pushing it. It paid off with a victory over Florida and ultimately a national championship. Most coaches wouldn't have had the nuts to do that. Also against Auburn going for it with little time left instead of going for the tie
