I really think that one stays between he and his team. That aside, Miles needed this game to shake off the ghost of Saban, and as far as I am concerned that happened. Congratulations to the man and his team for a great win. Also, kudos to Saban for a hard fought and relatively clean game. However, he is Alabama's coach now, and Miles is ours.

This thread is amazing. A guy post a story that might or might not be true. He tells you his source and doesn't claim he knows 100% yet many of you jackasses jump all over him.

I just don't see the big deal. I like the story and hope it is true. Yet yall act like he just posted that Les Miles raped a 4 year old! Believe it or don't but it isn't that big of a deal so quit acting like he did something wrong.

I say it is bullshite. He would never be that selfish. He always thinks of the team first.

How is this selfish and not thinking of the team. Its not like he asked them to lose.

This. And while his players would want to win it for him, he certainly wouldn't ask. And for the jackasses and slackers in this thread that can't just enjoy this big win the way our coach and team did-GFY.

Not at all. I'd like it if true -- it would mean that this team is behind him 100%

Is it better to be feared or respected?

I'm looking at you saban

Because in Miles post game comments/interview he was specifically asked by a reporter "what his response was" upon being given the game ball?

Probably already been said, but that's not what he was asked.

He was asked what Sheppard said when he presented him the game ball and he said "I don't know...it wouldn't be right for me to repeat it."

I think this post was conjured up due to your ammunition and like minded friends being almost expired.
Thankfully the Hater is a dying breed.

I wanted to see if I could get this story confirmed. It comes from someone who is friends with and lives down the street from Jordy Hurltberg

I stopped right here.

What does Miles being beligerant and hard-headed (facts) have to do with the veracity of the story?
