Saban came in when our program was hot garbage.

Saban walked into a program littered with future nfl talent.
His 1st season as coach he had
Rohan Davey
Josh Reed
Bradie James
trev Faulk
Dominak DAVIS
Devery Henderson
Eddie Royal
Labrandon Toefield
Chad Lavalais
Jarvis Green
Kendrick allen
Ryan Clark
Stephen peterman

And he lost 4 games. Tell me how that roster wasn't talented as frick?

His 2001 roster was even MORE talented than that roster with additions like
Corey webster
Ben Wilkerson
Michael Clayton
Marcus spears
Marquise hill.

Saban underachieved every year considering the talent we had at lsu. Even his title was won when we lost to an inferior Florida.

* This is the reasoning used against Miles.

Wasn't Miles 7-5 his last year at OSU?

Also someone here pointed out his QB stats when he was an OC, and let's just say it wasn't surprising

Now I will agree with this... And yes he lost 4 games... BUT in 2000 those so-called future pros were NOT that good YET... 2001 LSU team was a special team...One of the best offenses EVER at LSU... Yes losing to TENN and FLA stung a lot... 2002 had to replace a senior QB and they were doing really well until Mauck got hurt and Randall came in.. He wasn't very good after that 1st game against South Carolina... 2003 was one of the best teams in LSU history... They dominated when it matteed most..2004 again replacing a starting QB.. And I think Saban had his mind on the NFL the whole year... I hated the way he left and he failed in the pros... BUT.. What he has done at Bama is downright amazing... I will say this... Saban left Miles more to work with then what he had when he got here.... Its a shame that they didn't have a bye week in 2005... They just got wore out... In 2006 I still believe that LSU was the best team in the country at the end of the year... 2007 speaks foritself... And THEN it happened... Miles let RP get away with SOOO much that he LOST is team... No focus or leadership.. And his coaching choices that year were BAD..... 2009 was A recovery year and was a ok team.... 2010 was about the same... 2011 speaks for itself until 1/9...THATS when IT happened again... Bama has owned us ever since and at times LSU teams lack focus and swag...

SERIOUS??? I doubt it.. They would have to depend on TM to make a special play to keep it close... 2011 team would have a very hard time scoring on that 2003 D. BUT IF Saban was coaching the 2003 team and Miles was coaching the 2011 team.. It would look a lot like 1/9.....

Yeah because I was the one posting a picture of no evil monkeys and calling certain posters," Miles Men". The irony is glorious.

Shitting on our last 3 years is shitting on lsu. Never mind we have the 3rd most win in the sec during that time. Never mind we have finished top 15 2 of those 3 years with a chance to make it 3 of 4. You honestly believe any coach would be better than Miles. You actually believe any coach could be successful at lsu.

I realize you hate it because you have no argument against it. My facts outweigh your biased opinion every time and it hurt your vag.im sorry facts don't support your opinion. That's usually what happens when you post opinions heavily influenced by bias.

I am glad you brought this up

"Miles Men" are Cultist who think Miles is LSU and worse - think Miles is Greater than LSU, that is the problem, He is Neither, He is a Great Human Being, a Terrible Coach

"Belligerent Name Calling", Like Stupid, Bitch and many other names you like to use, that is Name Calling

Having a legitimate sports discussion with a poster like you is like banging you head against the wall

Better to get to the Bottom Line - Miles is so predictable, I predict he is gone by the end of the next season. If he is not then LSU must have done well and I will applaud, but I predict he is gone

2011 lsu played a far harder schedule and beat the rose bowl Pac 12 and the orange bowl / big East champions. Our lone loss was to the best bama team of the modern era and they needed to tries. 2003 lsu got drug by a 5 loss Florida.

You mean it would look like 2003 lsu did against a 5 loss florida.

2003 LSU D with Saban as coach would have eaten JJ alive just like Bama did....Actually that loss to FLA was the best thing that could have happened to that team... It turned a switch on and they crushed everyone after that except on a slippery field and against the best Ole Miss team in decades..... 2003 team also shut down a team that was avg. over 600 yards a game and held them to 152 yds, IN THE TITLE GAME..YES when it mattered most........

Well it is true that some have finally relented, BeFense one of them, but there are many others, some who are Closet Cultists who think this way, who simply don't have the balls to say what they think.

I love how you make excuses for Saban's tenure yet blast Miles for the same things. Wheb Miles has talent and loses he is an underachieving coach that squander talent. When Saban loses with talent it's ok because that talent wasn't as developed as it could be and that's somehow not on the coach.
Our 2000-2001 teams were some of the most talented rosters in lsu history and Saban lost 7 games but that's somehow ok with you. He lost 7 games in a sec that is far easier than the sec miles has coached in. For god sake 3 sec losses won the west.
