You're a moron. Picking 30 players out of 2500 and getting 44.3% of them right is in incredible. You've shown, in this thread, you have no fricking clue about cfb.

you don't think were on a downward spiral then your blind. We have essentially gotten worse every year for the last 4.

FACTS PROVE YOU WRONG. We have a better conf record than last year and a higher win % this year. Do I need to explain what a continous decrease is because you clearly don't know.

Yeah, but if we only have a 4 year sample, then yes, 1 year improvement is a trend.

I'll make it easier for you, in Miles tenure, he has shown a trend of improving after a low point. Is that better?

Before Miles cane to lsu we had approximately 13 top 15 finishes in our entire history. miles has 7 top 15 finishes and we have a chance this year to finish top 15 making it 4 out of the last 5 years where we have at least a top 15 finish. I love how you posters that do absolutely nothing to make lsu a better program bitch about what level of success you'll accept.

You just don't get it man. It's not about who likes and dislikes Miles or his accomplishments over the course of his 10 years. He can no longer win in this conference consistently with the way he game plans. That's just the way it is. It's okay, it's just time to move on.

Oh so now your arguing the efforts of 247 sports' high school scouts?

I don't disagree. But im going to defend the current coach when people say things that are false. That is all.

So if we happen to lose to TT and end up with 4 losses you feel like we are moving in the right direction?

This has nothing to do with game planning. We lost damn near half of our scholarship players on defense to the NFL after the 2012 season and half of our scholarship players on offense after the 2013 season.

We started true sophomores at QB, RB, and WR and true freshmen at RB, FB, LG, and RG. And that is lightyears ahead of where we were last year in terms of depth and experience. Ever since the end of the 2013 season, we have been completely rebuilding (not reloading) our roster.

And we've managed to at least be respectable with a 16-9 (9-7) record during that time.

As opposed to dumbass poster like you that use biased opinion ? Certainly. You've repeatedly shown you have no fricking clue how cfb works.

. True statement, and we're stuck with what we got for now. The parody amongst teams as regards to talent is tightening all the time. Now and even more so in the future coaching and schemes are making the difference in the W-L columns. We got what we got for now. All we can do is cheer on game days and then let it roll of the cuff when we get outcoached

What I'm trying to figure out is why the hell your arguing about who and how 247 ranks their players. Are you really this dumb that you don't even know what your arguing? Just because 40% of five stars make it to the NFL doesn't mean there are 40% in the NFL. You get it.

Not sure what you're bitching about with that post. From 2012-13, we went 20-6 (11-5).

We had a 10-3 (6-2) record in 2012 despite some pretty significant injuries.

quote:

Since the start of August camp, the Tigers have lost four of their original starters for the season (cornerback Tyrann Mathieu, linebacker Tahj Jones, offensive tackle Chris Faulk and running back Alfred Blue), plus a fifth who became a starter in the place of one of the lost players (linebacker Kwon Alexander).

For those who don't like percentages, here are some more intuitive breakdowns based on the numbers from the entire 2014 draft:

A five-star recruit had a three-in-five chance of getting drafted (16 of 27).
A four-star had a one-in-five chance (77 of 395).
A three-star had a one-in-18 chance (92 of 1,644).
A two-star/unrated recruit had a one-in-34 chance (71 of 2,434).

No shite that's the percentage out of all high school players in the country. Wow. Can you stop now

My point of this whole argument that started earlier in this thread is that just because a team has a lot of 5 stars doesn't mean they are more talented then everyone else
