Now hold on there, Carl. Let's not get excited here.

He was 18-29 for 208 yards and added another 53 yard on only 7 carries on the ground. That was a great game. He also played very well against Ole Miss, going 7-7 for 88 yards and adding 26 on the ground. We just didn't need him to do too much because we were running the ball so well.

Georgia is really the only game where he shite the bed. He deserves a lot of blame for the 1st half, but the entire offense slept through those 2 quarters. The OL didn't decide to show up until the 3rd. However, though he shite the bed, the one thing he didn't do is the main thing that keeps him in the game--he didn't turn the ball over. With Wing and our defense, that is a huge attribute. Especially in big games.

Why are you so scared of LSU losing against Alabama. Every single post I have read from you, it's as though you are walking on pins and needles almost afraid to take a breath scared.

Two things:

1. It's just a football game and what happens, happens
2. LSU is a better football team across the board than Bama.

Just enjoy the ride!

I said "likely." And I really don't expect us to throw the ball 29 times against Bama. But maybe we'll have to. We'll see.

Let's be realistic.... JJ could improve three-fold and he would still be considered mediocre. With the exception of a small handful of runs, would somebody tell me what he does besides hand the ball off?

On how many occasions and how far? LM is playing Russian Roulette with him in the game, IMHO.

he improves his numbers vs. Bama the 1st time 3-fold and he'd have 300+ yds total offense. I'll take that mediocrity and the crystal ball that comes with it all day!

Apply he same math to the first half of the GA game. 3 x ZERO = ZERO.

He runs the option effectively which is a Bama weakness, and I don't see it changing because their LB's are slow to the outside. If he turns upfield and then kick it out to the RB he'll do damage to them.

Make that first LB commit to you, problem is sometimes he strings it out horizontally to the point where the RB has no room to run, just out of bounds, I hope he doesn't do this shite this time around. Any RB's can breakoff big gains outside against them, possibly go all the way.

Did you watch the Michael Ford run in overtime against Alabama?

It's one of the things that helped LSU against Georgia too.

It's as effective as a great block by an offensive lineman.

Of course, it does not show up on the stat sheet.

How does this apply to JJ? Are his hand-off skills that good? I don't see it?

I agree completely if you're talking about Lee. If you're not, I question your intelligence. Well, I don't really question it, actually. I think you're a dumbass.

Carl - let's keep it in perspective....Lee had one bad game. His QB efficiency was way up there. And I already knew I was a dumbass. People tell me that all the time. But I don't listen...

Another Nov 5 like performance - 5 of 13 passes for 30 yards is not going to happen, because it will bring us a loss in this game.

Fail.

This was his line against Georgia. He was 6-10 for 67 yards against Bama.
