remember the 2007 auburn game, byrds amazing catch in the endzone with almost no time left, miles said in the post game interview that if it was incomplete that we had enough time for a feildgoal, i think he was watchin the play clock , no the game clock

We did, there was 1 second left and probably would have been more if the pass would have fallen to the ground.

Quit comparing this debacle to Auburn 07...2 completely different circumstances. AU 07 was a good play call that Matt Flynn took way too long to execute. The play was in the huddle with just under 20 seconds left.

Come on man, you are reaching. The clock was stopped with time on it after the touchdown, how can you say there would not have been the same amount of time or more if it was an incompletion?

No, it wasn't. It was a good call that worked. Unless Byrd and the AU defender tip the ball around for 3 seconds, we still kick the field goal on the next play. It was Flynn's fault that it was so close, not Miles'.

what if they do bat it around for 3 seconds? what if its picked?
what if Flynn is sacked?

you have the best kicker in LSU history. run the ball, make it a 40 yarder right down the center, and you take those risks out.
