I just asked what the stats were.
Don't hate.

He ran out his lane into the middle of BFE

Who cares what his states are (mine are better anyway).
Two more interesting facts are (1) most teams we play seem to target him, i.e. run right at him; and (b) he rarely makes solo tackles.

DJ and Lamar have baffled me for two years. I just don't understand. Maybe everybody is missing something they do. The coaches must believe the ones behind them are unskilled or clueless. It is an enigma for me.

I care.
That's why I asked.

Against NMST
Welter - 2 solo 6 assisted tackles
Beckwith - 2 solo 2 assisted tackles
Neither had a sack or TFL and beckwith had the Int return of course.

Welter had a fumble recovery and a qb hurry it appears.

Why would anyone expect other than what we've been seeing?

Welter is the single reason we gave up that long run to sorry arse NMSU.
Yep, all on him.

Welter has played more snaps than Beckwith and has less solo tackles...
Welter has a solo:assist of 1:4
Beckwith has a 1:2

Probably going to at least need Rasco with him.

sounds like Beckwith might get more playing time this weekend

Raj Prashad, FanBuzz Writer:
"The No. 15 LSU will take the field Saturday with an upset on its mind as the Tigers face off against No. 5 Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
With the contest standing as LSU’s premier matchup thus far in the young season, head coach Les Miles will pull out all the stops. That could mean changes coming at middle linebacker, with sophomore Kendell Beckwith getting more snaps ahead of senior D.J. Welter."
The athletic Beckwith appears to be the perfect match for Auburn’s high-octane offense. The sophomore is quicker, more instinctive and more familiar when it comes to the read-option, a play Auburn loves to run."

This... and not like hes played just a few snaps more than Beckwith. Its been a significant amount of snaps.
And I wish we would we able to chart the offensive drives when Beckwith was in at MLB and when Welter was in at MLB. Because when we played Miss St, Beckwith played the last few series before half and then tried to go up the middle and we stuffed them.
