Great segment. Couldn't be happier for Coach Mickey and his family for the promotion, and you can tell he really loves LSU and Louisiana.

Also, he mentions the current status of the receiver room, especially with Ja'Marr Chase and Terrace Marshall, then mentions "Racey is our number 3 receiver right now", and then mentions Trey Palmer, Jaray Jenkins, and says he's really impressed with Jontre Kirklin's development and he's a possibility to come in and make some big plays in-game.

I think jontre has some serious speed like Palmer. Hes been waitiNg his turn and doing a lot of what is asked of him.

Would be pretty cool to see him get some reps and even a.........jet sweep.

a lot of people aren't too familiar with Jontre, but he very well could take some wildcat snaps at QB much like Taysom Hill. he has fantastic athleticism and was a QB in high school. having added wrinkles like that takes pressure off of Myles as well, and would be hard to defend for teams that haven't seen anything like that.

I know I’m not a national championship winning coach but I’d have Palmer returning punts.

Call Les, he has an extensive set of plays in a binder that he drew up (with crayons) for R Shep

The most interesting nugget to me was what coach Joseph said about Coach O after the notre dame loss in the bowl game.

He said a few kids had missed curfew before that game. Coach O had a team meeting with all the returning players after the game and said enough is enough.

Coach Joseph said they hadn't had a player miss curfew since then.

He probably will once he learns the offense.
He's a player.
