I see it as a compliment. They wouldn't use Geaux if LSU wasn't great.

I like it...and Michigan has quite the French heritage.

The French were the first permanent European settlers of what is now Michigan, in 1668. New Orleans wasn't founded until 1718. "Detroit" is derived from a French word; "Cadillac" was a Frenchman.

probably very few, but I imagine a bunch of drunk UL fans fell for it along with VA tech fans.
