re: Mett's play over the last two weeks makes you wonder about Jan 9th doesn't it?

This was after having played 8 games you rantard. He gained some much needed experience through 8 games that he wouldn't have gotten by practicing for 4 weeks before the bowl game.

Smartest thing said. Mett's improvement over the last 2 games was due to going through the struggles and experience of the first 6-7 games, He wasn't going to step into Jan 9th and lead us to victory, Sorry.

Losing on 1-9 had more to do with us getting beat at the line of scrimmage than QB play. Mett's improvement correlates directly with the improvement in the O-line and receivers. It is a total team improvement as Miles alluded to Wed evening. Here's hoping we win out so we won't have to listen to the rantards till next yr, if we lose again that is.

Did you see the beginning of the season? Imagine that, but worse. That would have been the title game.

He should have been the starter last year no question but we can't dwell on the past.

no you can't say no question.
he still would've had a slow start. i don't think we beat oregon last yr with mett. maybe not bama either. arky? tenn was lackluster at times.
if you're willing to give up an undefeated regular season and Sec ring then yes, maybe you could argue that but he still needed sec games under his belt.
