Some people forget this, but he made some great throws, not just dump-offs

I'm really not one to pick apart grammar. However, just think for a moment about what this means and the context in which you're using it.

People are ranking McCarron so high because of what he did in the last game of the season against us in the NC. He threw his best game ever (mostly because of the gameplan). Many of their yards came from bootlegs to the tight end and dump offs but he made those throws and a couple of good ones that were impossible to defend but analyst act like he carved our shite up.

They all forget how mediocre he was during the whole season, but they will be reminded of it soon enough.

and to be clear i'm not saying he is a bad QB but people are hyping the shite out of him for nothing.

Not really. 11/5 was his only bad game. 3rd in the league in yards, led the league in completion % and only threw 5 picks. He wasn't a world beater but he wasn't mediocre either

You criticize my grammar for improper usage in context, yet you only take one phrase OUT OF CONTEXT and criticize it. frick off.

I think it is a fair list. Mettenberger has yet to prove anything. I just hope these rankings change at the end of the year.

I think that LSU's defense had something to do with that.

Saban saw that and made adjustments in his gameplan for the BCSCG. Miles, stupidly, did not.

I think LSU's defense had everything to do with that. I just thought it was silly to say he was medicore besides the NCG. In all liklihood though the poster that made that claim probably saw very little of mccarron outside of the matchups against LSU.

I can't wait to see what Mett can do. I've been wondering when LSU was going to stop dicking around and get one true QB.

Lots of screen passes and dumpoffs to richardson and lacy went for alot of yards too. Let's not pretend AJ is some gunslinger. He's a decent QB, IMO. Nothing more, nothing less. He's a good game manager, which is all Bama needs.

I thought JJ was going to finally break through last year, and I was really hyped up over RS when he was recruited. We all know what has happened with those 2

So you're the one who focked it up for everybody. Nice going.

Well, as an outsider, I'm curious to see how good this team can be now that problem #1 has been addressed. UT and LSU will not meet for a while, so it will not affect me at all.

He can prove poise and leadership. That is all we really need from a quarterback. The offense just needs to exude confidence at the line of scrimmage when we play great d-lines in conference play. I am confident Mett can do it.
