I still see Ducre as a tailback. He has good vision, good agility and better than average speed. Would love to see him and Fournette in a split backfield. Heck, I'd love to see any 2 of LSU's backs in a split backfield. The pro set, INO, can utilize their abilities better than the I. In the pro set either can run and either can block. And from what I've seen LF7, Williams and all three recruits can block and run. Defense's couldn't key on one. But, unless LSU can show the ability to throw the ball some, it won't really matter anyway. It's not easy to run against 8 and 9 in the box no matter how good your backs are.

We need linebackers! Melvin Jones is elite. Coach Steele needs to jump on this immediately. I can't believe what these morons are thinking. And I am not referring to the new coaches. I am referring to one man.

I agree, LSU needs some quality 'backers in this class. Hopefully Steele and O will be able to hit the trail and get some commits in this area. I still don't understand what the hold-up is on McGinnis. Has LSU offered and he's not committing, or is he waiting on an offer? Dude looks good on film from what I've seen. Looks athletic and has good size. Maybe he wasn't what Chavis wanted in a LB. I know Chavis prefers smaller faster and quicker LB's. Maybe now with Steele and O things will get moving with McGinnis. But yea, I agree, they need some LB's in this class.
