Keep in mind baseball is a long year with many highs and many lows. It takes a while for pitchers to get into form and to be at the top of their game. I'm sure our national championship winning coach is fully aware of that fact and come late april to may you will see some great pitching from LSU.

Ross has the third best stuff on the staff behind Ranaudo and Ott. It seemed like all he needed was an adjustment to his strategy for the third time through the order, which happened this weekend, and he pitched very effectively. Kid has nasty stuff, just needs to keep them off balance after twice through the order. This team will be fine. More concerned with lack of timely hits
