Looks like NF is going to put the finishing touch on the complete destruction of the women's basketball program this season.

And not a single top 200 player committed. Checkmate.

Yep. She can’t recruit well enough. Geno said it last year. It’s not the same.

Ray was bad for about 90% of the game.

The 2018 class is awful

Losing Moncrief will be a major blow for this program.

USF is ranked like 23 but they were definitely very beatable.

I think we will be slightly improved this year but nothing to write home about.

The standards for this program have absolutely tanked the last 3 years. Hell, the WBB Facebook page didn't even finish to post the final score

Ayanna Mitchell is a talented girl but damn, she misses every other layup.

Farley needs A LOT of work

Pointer will be a solid point guard

Offensively I have some major concerns for this years team

SEC will be tough this year as usual.

Also if the post players continue with the foul trouble, LSU is screwed.

LSU can't afford to consistently lose them every game

Seriously, how in the Frick can a program that was competing at the level LSU was fall this bad? I mean it’s WBB for goodness sakes. How does Alleva tolerate this level of ineptness from an grossly overpaid coach? Unreal.

I don't have any insight, but to me, it just feels like someone that got a great contract and became content. Once fired, she probably doesn't "have" to ever work again.

To recruit well, you have to hustle... you have to be willing to to commit a lot of time and energy to it. She just doesnt seem to have any passion for getting after it.

She should have a TON of connections. Worked for Summitt. Coached in California. Coached on the East Coast....

But my God she can't recruit worth a shite.

Did you know most coaches in LA strongly dislike her and the staff?

I have sorta a scoop on the top prospect in LA this year

Nikki recruited the 5 star Nola prospect who left for FSU, Kourtney Weber

I know a family friend of theirs. They said they were extremely baffled by LSU's recruitment of her. Nikki nor any staff member ever called, claiming they thought LSU was her school and they didn't have to worry

Then she committed to FSU then the phone started to ring like crazy

LSU has developed a very bad reputation as of late on the recruiting trail. There is more to it apparently.

Its crazy how now LSU would be lucky to lure in a top 200 player

This. She is the opposite of Will Wade. There are definitely some Women's Basketball Coaches out there that would come to LSU and at least give it there all.

Nikki has been flat since the day she walked on the court here. On paper she looked like a super hire. In reality, sucks. This will be her last year here. Book it Dano!

Rumor around is Alleva isn't happy with her and she isn't on his best side as of now.

My question is when will enough be enough. This 2018 recruiting class hit the nail on the hammer that their is no future.

She can continue to coast and have average seasons. When will LSU be serious about contending for a national title? The WBB program now looks content and settled. Its incredibly sad to look back where this team was years back and now is not even a shadow of what it once was.

LSU pays her a very nice salary to compete at the highest level. She isn't meeting the expectations what so ever.

On paper it wasn't a bad hire,It didn't workout, LSU needs to just move on

Complete destruction, eh? When they make the tournament this year, it will be 6 times in her 7 years to do so. If you want to talk shite, fine. At least get your facts straight. They got a national letter of intent from this kid this week for next year. I believe she is slightly above the top 200

Hey coach, you can twist it all you want. You're doing a terrible job and deserve to be fired. Peace

Its not a 'complete destruction' but its not in very good shape

The talent level is not very good

Is just making the NCAA tournament now the only standard?

I think Nikki Can coach well but her recruiting will never allow her to be a nationally ranked team.

The reality is Nikki's best years were at the beginning of her tenure here its been a slippery slope downhill ever since.

I know people want to continue to blame injuries for bad patches but its more than that. Its beyond it. Every year we have 4 or 5 players suspended or someone is kicked off the team at an extremely high rate. Its not a very good culture anymore and our story on the recruiting trail proves it. I am not sayin Nikki doesn't work hard but its pretty clear to most who follow the program that Nikki is not completely settled and content. The desire is now non existent anymore. I saw it early on but now its dead

its time to move on

I want LSU WBB back at the elite level, I refuse to settle

Oh bullshite. You keep saying this even though those players have been gone for 3 seasons.

Raigyne is the only player on the team who even played with Ballard or Youngblood so that's just some shite you're making up.

No I'm not, every year we have suspensions

Jenna Deemer was kicked off the team last season.

Listen I personally have been on Nikkis side for a while but I personally have seen enough.

She can coach but she can't recruit worth a damn. At this level you can't compete with the big fish without that talent.

Its a repeat cycle every year

100% not true. Deemer was diagnosed with an illness that prevents her from competing.

Advocate story in May about Deemer

You've been complaining about players kicked off long after that those players were gone and even blaming Fargas for injuries as if that's something controllable.
