the other reply summarised it nicely but what do you want him to do? Resign? He's the coach and that's not changing. The past is the past. He tried to build it a certain way and failed. Better to have a coach who admits he was wrong and is trying to fix it than someone who doesn't get it.
This place has skewered MM for not getting how the modern game works and he's now finally out here admitting it's possible and making promises that he's going to do it... Whether or not that's going to happen remains to be seen, but whining about the past isn't going to change anything.

True true. Judging a coach on his body of work is completely unfair to him.

if you're asking me, personally I think we're looking for a new coach next year. That doesn't mean it's not refreshing to hear him say it is possible to flip a roster to win immediately

Be CAREFUL I’ve been BANNED by a North Texas graduate staff member that writes for LSU Bengal Tiger/On3 for criticizing OUR Coach. I said the same thing and got in this young bucks feelings. He “warned” me twice because I did NOT agree with the “NIL” scam and retaining MM. I did not understand that DISAGREEING with the “host” so to speak meant banishment. I was told it’s not productive to thread, I said you look from the outside and ARE NOT a LSU fan and have no skin in the game. I guess that’s a big No-No. I really enjoy their recruiting news especially from Shea. Although I’m not in agreement with ANYTHING young buck has to say about LSUMBB, so that’s that. I believe he’s kin to McLoser and this name calling tugged at his heartstrings. I’ve got nothing to say but great things about On3 though the Rant is frowned upon, but I really believe Shea is great(LSU man) but does have a realistic view and approach to covering LSU. The other guy has know idea the fandom of true LSU b-ball fans and does not deal well with criticism of his views. He IS NOT a LSU fan so I feel he doesn’t take criticism of McLOSER well. Thank you if u read this just had to get this off my chest.
