And that is very possible. I just don’t like putting blame on college players. That team was NOT ready to play yesterday... and that’s on the whole coaching staff.....

Toughness. Dude is soft. He is afraid of contact and that keeps him from keeping his focus down field. To me, this is the biggest issue and I don't see it being fixed during the season. Hope I'm wrong.

Let me guess, Burrow was very average two years ago due to the coaches...not the following:

Burrow learning his teammates names and playbook on the fly

Burrow playing behind a decimated offensive line

Having young wideouts

Having largely inexperienced rbs

Stuff doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

Yesterday the coaches should shoulder a great deal of the blame, but...missing Stingley, not having Chase, a rebuilt o line, our rbs looking average at best right now, the crowd noise being nonexistent, and most importantly, their QB playing at top tier level, were all factors as well.

In short, there is obviously a lot of work to be done.
