Neither the O, D or STs did what they needed to do for us to win.

Didn't our D give up 6 points in the 2nd half against UF? It's amazing the standard that Aranda has set when the performance our D had that game is considered lacking.

however, he is the highest paid in the country, so we should be at the top! Right?

He's the highest paid in the country because we were terrified of losing him so basically threw the bank at him.

Ed values having coaches in his staff that he really gets along great with. That’s the main reason why he kept aranda. There are a couple handfulls of other coordinators who can replicate what aranda has done on D with the talent we have. And some of those guys may even be good enough recruiters to keep some of these in state studs on D from going to Bama. But O has a great working relationship with aranda. So did what he could to keep him.

He's amazingly somehow actually under-appreciated by our fans imho

I think most fans know Dave Aranda is currently the most important piece to our football program

Yeah the dumbasses that spew that garbage just don’t have a clue.

No, it's mostly the O crowd that will throw anyone, including Aranda, under the bus to keep O from looking bad

It's essential that LSU retain Coach Aranda. Once the offense finds its identity and gets rolling on a consistent basis, LSU will be a powerhouse for any opponent to contend with as long as we still have him running the defense.
