This team is lacking a national champion Josh Williams who was a leader, and a tough nosed back. Is not having a national champ on the roster a problem?

Being on the roster for a NC team doesn’t confer some secret wisdom. That leadership was a quality inherent to Josh Williams as a person.

They can look in 3 directions across the street and see national champions if they want, though it shouldn’t be necessary at this level

I get what you’re saying. I guess this is the first year where we don’t have any on the roster and the first year we are completely dead on offense. I think that’s what I was trying to get at

The 2020 and 2021 teams were full of national champions. There is no correlation. Either a team collectively has what it takes to pick each other up and come together or they don’t

We are about to see if this one does or doesn’t
