They’re like a two headed snake.
When Nuss sputters, Half of them will viciously defend him (so they don’t look wrong) to the point of hating on whoever the backup is, and half will jump over to the backup QB and hate on Nuss.
JB was the only thing powerful enough to shut them up and they tried hating and doubting him until they couldn’t any longer.

That was bad coaching as much as it was QB play. God it feels good to finally have a competent head coach.
