How were the Bama players leading up to the NC game when they played Texas? Anyone know?

Don't recall any specifics but it was the only time I rooted against the SEC in a bowl game so they must've been pretty arrogant. Gumps are Gumps and won't ever change.

This comment made me realize something. We've been had.

The BCS, ESPN, SI, all set up this whole joke to see just how completely LSU will annihilate Alabama. They were laughing behind Saban's back the whole time

Corso: "pssssst...can you believe Saban? He's actually playing along with this! Diddn't you guys see what West Virginia did to Clemson? LSU SLAUGHTERED those bums! Saban actually believes this crap!"

It's all a big joke.

Too bad for Bama the punchline is that they have to play us.

Maze is the same dumb frick who cried that the punt he screwed up on and didn't catch hit a damn imaginary TV wire. I hope he leaves the field in pain

That's awesome. Almost as awesome as when that Alabama player intercepted McCarron's pass and returned it deep into Alabama territory to set up the tying field goal. And especially when that Alabama player stripped the ball from the other Alabama player at the goal line to give us the ball and turn away a Bama threat...that was great, too.

Hahaha true, but there are different ways to say it. I was commenting to my friend at lunch I was surprised with all the Jones and Maze talk, LSU players have remained fairly quiet.

Surprisingly so. Figured a few would be headed to Twitter already. CLM has probably banned it this week lol

I know Saban had the 2003 team watching what they said and and how they worded their comments, so this is definitely different. That's what has me wondering about 2009. I also rooted against them because I can't stand them, but didn't follow what they said leading up to that game.

Really interested in knowing in 2009 if they acted more like 2003 or 2011.

I'm strictly referring to the players. We all know the fans are always arrogant, delusional, and moronic.

I think you caught a case of Bamaitis. Better go get a shot for that right away.
