His high school film is more like devin white/patrick queen than just an outside rusher like Chiasson. Given that our whole LB crew will be re-tooled, I actually like him to move inside and take that DW/PQ role.

-he'd be a great A gap blitzer
-we need to replace that sideline to sideline eraser from the ILB spot; we need some foot speed at that position

I also would like Stevens to move down to an OLB role

I like our starting LB's next year:
ILB: clark and Brooks
OLB: Stevens and possibly one of the pups

I think Brooks stays on the outside and Baskerville starts inside along side Clark.

Im all for having Stevens and Brooks on the outside of Baskerville and Clark. Harris and Hampton as the safetys. That is of course if we are still running a 3-4.

Brooks is an outside linebacker. Just look at his frame. He could potentially grow into a MLB frame but he doesn’t have the run stuffer build just yet.

He’s a guy that can blitz and cover but not the guy you want taking on a guard coming to the second level.

Clark is there. He’s going to be a great MLB in a 4-3. Big enough to take on the second level OL blocks or fullback blocks and fast enough to get outside.

I think Brooks would be a great MLB in a dime package but I don’t think he stays there. Gonna be great wherever he goes.

yeah, he needs to get a little thicker, his height is actually more typical of ILB than outside pass rush specialist though, but yeah he needs to put on some weight for ILB

Brooks is our Chaisson edge rusher of the future......Y’all forgetting about Starks...who is our Queen replacement. Both are FAST AND VIOLENT. There will be no drop off
