Does anybody play for the name on the front of the jersey instead of the back.

At this point I would rather see some walk ons who actually give a shite

Fournette and McCaffery started this when they were the first to sit out the bowl games.

Not many, no. The days of players caring about the name on the front as much as the fans are long gone

I wouldn’t want to, the way LSU fans bash their players & so quick to turn they backs on the players.

Bowl game is fine.

Injury is fine.

Quitting after you give a speech and are a supposed team leader isn't

There is no putting the genie back in the bottle.

I fully expect players to start quitting as soon as they are projected at a certain spot in the draft, regardless of the team’s success or lack of.

This is the “player empowerment” era. It’s only going to get worse. Look at the NBA with guys demanding trades with 2 years left on deals. Don’t like the way things are going? Just stick your fingers in your ears and stomp your feet till you get your way. frick the team, right?

Really makes you appreciate the Devin White’s of the world. That type of guy is becoming rare.

Player quits in the middle of the season and wonders why fans would be upset with him. Imagine that

Could be wrong, but I think this season is a bit of an outlier for many reasons.

Time to start looking really hard at who you’re recruiting. What is this talent getting us this year? Our stars from last year were a transfer nobody wanted, a RB nobody wanted and a 2 star WR. It’s time to think about character over that extra star by the name.

Not many that attend LSU. As fans, 85% are always looking for the next one to replace that one. Prime example... MB and LSU drops the opening game and yep, fans were calling for TJ or MJ to be given a chance. Now you TJ looking ok since the MB injury but gets pulled for a pick 6. With MJ in there, now the fans are all like.... wait till Nussiemer(?) gets here!!

The entire fan base sucks... except maybe 5%.
