When LSU was losing during his first year he publicly blamed the team's lack of talent. This was cowardly and would never serve a good purpose except to take heat off of himself. Bertman would have never publicly made his team feel untalented. Even during his early years Bertman motivated his teams to play to their potential. I've never trusted Mainieri because of this.
Besides, he sounds like a fairy when he talks.
