See, you're never going to be taken for anything other than how everyone is treating you now.
No matter if it was a simple question or not, you did this to yourself. You aren't to be taken seriously. While I agree that for the most part plays were still the same plays, it felt way different due to tempo, sequencing, personnel mixups including new targets, and i cannot remember seeing LSU running 4 wide many times the last 5 yrs.
The team went from looking in disarray and a dumpster fire to looking like a well coached and oiled machine that would've annihilated Mizzou if a long ball or two would've been completed.

Yeah the frequency of the 4 wide was definitely a change of pace. IIRC we came out against Jacksonville State in a similar look, but Harris's 1-4 start quickly ended that. Etling actually started off 1-4 too, but the difference Saturday is that we stuck with it. We didn't bail on any strategy too early and eventually everything was coming up roses.

HB wheel routes would be great for those guys. I think that would be a LBs nightmare to try and cover either of those guys in open space.

Using a lot of TEs, WRs and RBs now prevents the defense from knowing what play is coming or what player is the primary target on pass plays based solely on specific personnel groupings.
This seems so obvious and simple, and it is not a certainty that this was the exact reason, but it definitely was one of the positive results. When you saw Williams and Ferguson or Gage in the game, you were left wondering just what in the hell was coming. And then out of nowhere, one of these packages would produce a toss dive for a nice gain. It was quite awesome
