LSU is entirely capable of beating any team in the nation. LSU is also playing better as a team than they were against Florida. After the Florida game no one could imagine LSU in the BCS title game. Now one can easily imagine it. Looking up and down the top 10 list I believe we have as good a chance as any of them of playing in Miami.

I hate Bama and want us to win as bad as any fan, BUT I can't get past our struggles on offense and how we fair against their great D. We couldn't assert ourselves against weak defenses so how are we going to hold the ball on offense to give our D a rest?

Bama disguises their coverage scheme as well as anybody. Mett has problems against obvious coverages, stares down his primary receiver, and has trouble going thru his progression to secondary receivers.Bama is gonna stack the box and dare us to pass, using man coverage on our receivers.
I don't think we can run effectively enough to have sustained drives without some success passing added to the mix.

However, we did ok against SC on our field at night so hopefully there will be some magic in TS Sat. nite.

ESPN, Athlon, Bleacher Report, SI all rank South Carolina's Defensive Line Unit number 2 behind LSU.
All Rank Alabama 4 or 5. Just saying....

Bama is unbeatable. The only team that could beat Bama, is Bama. And even then, Bama would be a 14 pt favorite. But, I wouldn't touch that line because Bama would never lose by 14, unless, it was at Bama. Bama could, however, win at a neutral site vs. Bama. Maybe at Legion Field, Bama is an underdog. But, Bama would not be an underdog at Bama, unless, it was against Bama. Bama gets better every day. In fact, Bama woke up today better than yesterday. Solely based on the fact that they've had another 24 hrs to be Bama. So, everyday you see Bama, they're better than the day before. Bama will never lose again, until they decide to lose. Or, until they face Bama.

quote:Bama by 10. LSU's offense will not be able to move the ball, and Bama's will do just enough to swing the field position battle. Bama will eventually put one in. The defense is going to be gassed come the 4th quarter and Bama win either punch in another, or kick a fg to put it out of reach. Hope I'm wrong, but that's the way I see things going down. Perfect Analogy

Uh...this is not an analogy

The receivers have been catching 200 balls at practice

If we utilize our backs and tight ends in the passing game, we will beat Bama Saturday. It will then allow us to unleash the running game against Bama.If not,we will have our defense on the field for 40 minutes and it will be curtains for LSU.
