LSU quarterback and 2023 Heisman Trophy finalist, Jayden Daniels, recently shared his opinion on the shocking news that the undefeated Power Five conference team, the Florida State Seminoles, were left out of the College Football Playoffs, despite going 13-0 for the third time in program history.

Speaking about Florida State's absence from the playoffs, Daniels said, "We played them in Week 1, and losing Jordan was a big deal for Florida State. I personally think they did it for ratings and viewership."

I hope he doesn't lose the Heisman for speaking truth to power.

Good QB.... LSU would be 3-9 without Daniels.

FSU did everything asked of them and they were left out in the place of a team that got caught cheating over a period of 3 years, twice in 1 season. It's incredible to me, never have I seen an entire sport come together to collude to ensure 1 team gets preferential treatment.

He is 100% correct. Viewership, ratings and dollar sings drive College football. Its not the sacrifice of the players 365 days a year, it has nothing to do with the kids that strive to be the best they can be each and every day in a sport they love as they keep their grade point averages up.

I liked JD before. I love him now. He couldn’t be more right. I never felt like we got to know JD as well as we knew JB. I hope he has enjoyed his time in Tigertown. He sure was a joy to watch especially this year. I never thought he would develop to the point he has developed. Never thought he’d be an NFL type QB. His deep ball and ability to spread the defense has made him a real NFL prospect. Following his career will be fun. Best of luck to you JD.

Got to the 7:00-minute mark RG3 was on the Dan Patrick show. RG3 was asked who would win this year's Heisman and who was the most impressive Heisman QB to win it in his view.
