Sorry that I missed a comma and you are incapable of understanding without that much needed comma.
Your sentence was gibberish. Has nothing to do with a missing comma.

BTW, are you the grammar police now?
Nope. But I do have a command of the English language, unlike someone here.

I'm waiting for the students to try and chant it during a basketball game. The aftermath will be hilarious.

Obviously not, if you couldn't understand what I was requesting, even without the comma.

Since you are simply trying to derail this with your lack of comprehension, I will try this again in more simple sentences.
Please point out one statement that you quoted that is incorrect. Please provide an example.

An example of what? You sentence is gibberish. Are you asking for me to quote an example me quoting an example of a quote of yours that is incorrect?
Sure seems circular.

This reversal is what makes you a hypocrite.

Freedom of speech doesn't apply here anyway.
quote:Absurdist. You're still in the dark on that one.
Again, absurd analogy.
quote:I think you should try to learn why analogies exist and what purpose they serve in a debate so that when I say "Never 'negotiate with a terrorist,'" you will not need to inform me that "This has nothing to do with terrorists, terrorist behavior, or anything like terrorist behavior," since I'm the one who made the fricking analogy and call it an analogy.
This has nothing to do with terrorists, terrorist behavior, or anything like terrorist behavior. You should try to make an analogy that would make sense.
You are failing language arts.

Calling out retards for being retards is one of my favorite pastimes. Continue throwing your tantrum. This has been going on for a while, you might need to go get some medicine for your sandy vagina.

Yep, I'm the one with a tantrum in this thread.

I really dont know, i saw your posts on the first page and remember you have been whining about this for a while. If you have gotten over it and see the business side of this and not just through the eyes of a student, great. I apologize if that is the case.

If anyone is whining, it's the people trying to make it go away.

Actually I look at it from the much more realistic perspective that they can't do anything to stop it. Their best course of action would be to not play it for at least four years to get a new cycle of students that hopefully don't know the chant. Making it such a focus is only making the problem worse.

How about replacing "Neck" with "Gonna Fly Now," a catchy tune from 1976 composed by LSU alumnus Bill Conti and featured in an obscure boxing movie from the same year and starring Sylvester Stallone?

Yea, trying to bring it back with this cycle of students is idiotic at best. They had to know what was going to happen.

yep. It will take more than 4 years. there still will be people yelling it 4 years down the line and it wont take long for the students to start chanting it again. The song is dead.

Really? You stated that it is up to the university to police itself, which you support, otherwise you shouldn't have made the statement. Now you complain that they are doing just that. I am simply stating that you are contradicting yourself and by continuing to proceed with the latter argument makes you a hypocrite. It can't be stated any more simple than that. Even you should be able to understand this.
quote:

But this is not an open and public free-speach forum. It is a university event and they reserve the right to act as they feel necessary. It is printed as such on the ticket: "The LSU Athletic Department reserves the right in its sole discretion, without the refund of any portion of the ticket price, to refuse admission to or eject any person whose conduct is deemed to be disorderly, disruptive of others or who uses abusive or threatening language." What part of this sentence do you find difficult to understand? So you are correct that the university should police its own, which it is doing in this case.
quote:
Absurdist. You're still in the dark on that one.
Me stating that it is an absurd analogy is only connected to your claim of "absurdist" in the name sounding similar. This doesn't change that your analogy is absurd. Try looking up that word also.
