You know I was upset about the loss in nola, still am being i live near Gulf Shores, but when I think of all the LSU Tigers accomplished this year, they had a good year, dispite what all the bama fans say. That fan base is the worst I have ever had to deal with, the best thing I ever did was put the score on the roof of my house after the Nov. win, for a few short weeks it was nice.

The problem I have is you and others acting like it was an empty season. That is not the case.
Bama, ESPN, and the Mulligan Bowl say otherwise.

Still went undefeated in the regular season.
Still won the SEC West.
Still won the SEC Championship Game.
Irrelevant.

Bama/Fla fans laugh at you for starters.
This. That 2009 SEC Championship game was huge on so many different levels. It was an actual national championship play-in game on the last day of the season. Tebow hoopla. Heisman to be won with Ingram and Tebow. The rematch of the game the year before that was also a championship play-in. And on and on. The "greatest game in the history of the SEC" that the OP refers to wasn't even the biggest game LSU and Alabama played this year.

Another good point.
Because 2011's "Irrelevant Game of the Century" actually benefitted the loser more than the winner.
2009 was a true play in game. After all "Every Game Counts".
