LSU WBB now ranked #3 in the latest AP Poll
Is LSU hiring Kim Mulkey from Baylor the greatest coaching steal of all time? Has the be up there
Maybe Bama poaching The Bear from eaTme?
Woody did that one also when he was in Aggieland if I remember correctly

And here is another example of how great a coach Kim Mulkey is:

Baylor's 19-year run in The Associated Press women's college basketball poll is over.
The Bears had been ranked for 365 consecutive polls before falling out Monday after losing twice last week. Baylor had been in the AP Top 25 since Jan. 5, 2004, including a 21-week run at No. 1 in 2011-12.
I wonder if that would have lasted a few weeks longer if the transfer portal wasnt around and Kim couldnt have taken some of her players with her

I think anytime one school hires a multiple national title winning coach away from another, it’s a big deal…even if WBB isn’t on a lot of people’s radars.
I know from family/friends in Waco that the Baylor brass were tired of Kim. She’s headstrong, opinionated, and will never accept less for her teams and program.
Her big gripe was Baylor committed to an on-campus arena which is what Kim wanted. Then the city of Waco ponied up a lot of money to place the arena off-campus and to be used for non-Baylor events, and Baylor reneged on its word to Kim. To her, this was unforgivable. You keep your word.
Both Baylor and Kim were happy LSU came calling. Kim wisely so, Baylor not so much.
