LSU WBB +600 to win it all

As of this morning. That’s 2nd, behind of course, SC!

Sry if German. Just shows what a lot of ppl said about the seeds in this tournament….

I put $50 on it when they were +5000 in November...going to let it ride!

My friend did the same thing. He cashed out yesterday for $280, so there was some profit. I don't blame him. South Carolina is just going to be damned hard to beat, as Iowa would be IF LSU wins over VT.

The problem is that it is almost impossible to hedge this bet since SC is such a huge favorite to win.

We were thinking maybe a $600 bet on Va Tech to beat LSU, which would have netted a much better profit than the cash out option. But what if LSU wins and plays South Carolina? The money line on that would be -500 (at best...probably more like -600) and you would have to bet $6000 to win like $1200, which is obviously dumb since the value of the original ticket is only $2500.

So SC being so good screws those of us trying to make an honest wage on a bet
