I'll go with Les Bitten and piss poor coaching instead of fishing for excuses.

Yeah, that must be why we ended up 3rd in the SEC, 9-3 in the regular season, invited to the best SEC bowl outside of the BCS, and nationally ranked.

Granted, I can't know any better than you what would have happened, but it sure would have been nice for the games to have been played fairly.

LSU didn't move the ball since the 1st quarter. And one call didnot decide that game.

Yeah, and I bet you turned off the TV after the second out when Mr. Morris came to bat.

I would further contend that after Kentucky kicked their go-ahead field goal, you were absent as well.

I'll be sure to contact Les and let him know that he is not to score a touchdown, miss the 2 point conversion, and recover an onside.

During the Bluegrass miracle.I had to listen to a ranting KY fan the whole game...After the gatorade was poured on the coach. He went to the bathroom..We all know what happened while he was gone...It is great to be a LSU Tiger!!!

For the life of me, I'll never understand how people consider making a goal line stand lucky.
For the record, I don't mind a little bit of luck and think it's necessary to probably win a championship for most any team. My problem is how the team plays and looks while they are doing it. Our team may have won games, but they looked like shite doing it in the big games, except for Auburn. That speaks to coaching in my mind.

I don't mind a well played game by two good teams beating the crap out of each other and then LSU gets a bit of luck to win the game at the end. I do mind looking like a clusterfrick most of the game, and either winning by 1 point, or losing by 10 points, whatever the case. It shows that the team is unprepared and that it is relying on Les Miles "moxie" and "want" to win games, which we all know is not enough in the SEC.

The bad calls against Florida and Bama have already been dismissed as inconsequential and, therefore, not bad breaks.

They were bad breaks, but they did not change the outcome of either game.

raising the Georgia bad call as a counterpoint to the bad breaks assertion is

The Georgia bad call was practically meaningless.

Comparing the Bama/Florida calls to the Georgia call, the Bama/Florida calls were much more significant. Unlike them, the Georgia call did not put points on the board for either team and did not cost either team a possession. It was 15 yards of field position, which proved meaningless when we got a 40+ yard kickoff return anyway, plus a 30+ yard run for the TD that would have been as long as it needed to be since Scott wasn't going to be tackled.

None of the three calls decided any of those games. Two were much more meaningful than the other one, though.
