I really hope ratings plummet and 80% of the country does not watch the game.
I really think there will be a great deal of disinterest in this game, at least relative to others, and it's a shame. Just flip it around and OSU/Michigan or Oregon/Stanford was the NCG.

I think LSU fans really need to learn to not use the word disrespect, or respect in any form.
LSU has been saturating all forms of media roar 14 weeks. I don't know how much sucking off one team needs, but damn.
We are number 1, we have been number one, we will beat Bama by more than 7. We will be 14-0 Champs and they are already saying that would make us one of the greatest teams......EVER. Damn.

the only reason bama is up their at number two is because of that

And the possible Heisman winner....again.....and a two time NC coach, and the one of the deepest roster s of talented players from recruiting titles.
We going to wear em out, but I think they are clearly 2.
Why do we think the SEC is the toughest conference and the West the toughest division and have a hard time with this idea?

no we weren't.
The line for the NC opened with Bama as the favorite. That's disrespect.

I think you guys are missing the point. Yes, they've been given alot of good press, bit at the same time, there are the same people every week that pick against LSU and completely downplay this team. I don't normally comment on ESPN hate threads because they're stupid, but if you don't think there's been numerous backhanded jabs at LSU here and there, you're not listening
Alot of doubters even through this past weekend. It's subtle, bit it's there. I'd be willing to bet that 8/10 analysts will be picking Alabama in the rematch up until the game. Alabama has done no wrong this year according to these guys and it's ridiculous to even think that.
They love Alabama and it will continue for another month.

Be honest, who do you think would be #1 defensively if the two teams swapped schedules?

Both teams on short fuses with this extra motivation...this will get hot by Jan 9.

First, are you an LSU fan? Second you don't think this will light a fire under the Tigers. To have their first game disrespected and have every ESPN talking head talk about how Bama squandered chances? Despite the fact that we held them to minus 8 yards once they reached the 30? They outgained us by a total of 40 yards> Who from ESPN has brought that gem up? Who's going to have the bigger chip on their shoulder? I believe that will be the Tigahs!

The reality is that when you lay eggs offensively like first half GA.....people just have their doubts. Hard to understand how good we are when you catch bits and pieces of garbage that we display offensively at times. People are not used to watching ALL facets of the game and judging a team accordingly.

Totally agree......and the 7-10 points are like death and taxes book-it.

Relative to Alabama you may be correct that LSU gets the short straw but overall we get major props and attention.
ESPN talking heads like Smith are just stupid and no one pays attention to them anyway,

So the unanswered 42 points mean nothing because of the 1st half?
42 unanswered points in second half overshadows the story of 0 first downs in the first half.

LSU won't be respected even after a win. There's going to be an excuse.
