LSU vs Missouri Stats Comparison (Updated 3/12)

Note: Updated LSU Stats after the Xavier game. Did not update (SEC RANKINGS) or Missouri stats from original post on Monday.

After last nights game (Xavier)…..
LSU team BA increased from.333 to .346.
H from 188 to 206
R from 170 to 188
RBI from 156 to 173
K from 96 to 106 (yikes)

Missouri is dead last (SEC) in pitching in ERA, Hits, Runs & Batting Average Against.

After Xavier game,
ERA increased from 3.02 to 3.06.
K increased from 200 to 213
Batting Avg Against from .185 to .187
So only minimal changes to pitching.


Lastly, in Fielding %, LSU is .978 & Miz is .962. We must sweep this weekend!

It would be a great start, and sweeping is certainly possible, but it's not a "must sweep" series.

Thanks jtweezy. I definitely screwed that line up with 36/41 triples. Changed it to 3/4 respectively. Much appreciated

And they've played a much easier schedule than ours

Yeah we should be crushing them this weekend. Over 6 ERA against poor competition is abysmal

Looks great on paper and so far we have definitely played better.

However, league play will be different for them. Expect their play to tick up a couple notches. We have to NOT let it be different for us,….this weekend. Steady works for us against Mizzou.

This is may be the only sure sweep SEC series that I see on the schedule for us, considering how below average Mizzou is at everything, how well rounded we are, and the series is at The Box.

You have to play the games, though. Baseball is a funny game.
