I saw Malone and the very good forward that played with him in a Regional at Tulsa. Believe me, this team couldn't hold that team's jockey straps, and if you stop for a minute, I believe you would agree. I saw this team play at NWSt. I didn't see any Karl Malones'. Maybe they are better than when I saw them play, but you are seeing them against WAC competition. Malone and company played the big boys!

Your smoking crack and not giving this team there due. You didn't see any Karl Malone's? Well you will never see any Karl Malone's because they come around once ever blue moon. Malone and company played the big boys in the Southland? Those teams were great but so is the one. Long way to go before the season is over but this team is making it's own mark.

True, but the guys on your schedule are really, really bad...so all we truly know is LT is better than terrible. I'd give you solid, but nothing they have done says "Man they're a really good team" because it hasn't shown against the better competition.

I would believe in LT if they go to the NCAAT and upset a team. Heck, I guess LT could be in one of those 12/12 or 13/13 play in teams.

That play by play shows that tech led for all but three minutes of action.

More like that play by play shows the game within 4 points or less for the majority of the game. You can skew it in whatever way makes you feel better though.

True. But the next two teams we play are really good. New Mexico St. and Denver are good teams who we have beat earlier. If that's not good enough for you then we will just have to wait till the tournament. Hopefully the Dawgs can pull a few upsets!

Yeah was at the game and we won and pretty much lead the whole way through. Don't know what point your trying to make.

That's not what you originally said. You said

You didn't even lead from beginning to end, much less dominate.

At the game and Southern Miss. was never really in it. It's one of those games were you would have to see to say yeah they were never going to win that one. Box scores may say a different thing but if YOU WERE THERE THEN YOU WOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! Feel me!

I know the box score doesnt show it, but ManLaw is right. Tech played really well that night. Southern Miss used a couple runs to even it up, but could never get any kind of consistency.

I'm not doubting that, but ManLaw presented it as if it was 90-50 when the earlier poster called it a close game.

It's stupid to argue other a Southern Miss game that I was at. The Dawgs are playing lights out right now. LSU is playing well and can make some noise in the NIT. Lets just enjoy what we have going!

That's what I try to tell everybody that talks crap about Tech. NSU is very good and could be going to the tournament this year. Playing them at home is tough for anybody. Coach McConathy is one of the best coaches around. His teams are always competitive. LaTech is playing much better now though. I hope Tech, Northwestern and LSU can see some postseason play.
