Impossible because they're individually wearing ear buds and headphones probably listening to explicit rap lyrics. Ryno told me so.

I have been to just about every big Tiger game over the last two decades, including the three national championships. But I have never been this nervous or this excited about any game before. We are sixty minutes away from the ultimate dream: an undefeated NC claimed in New Orleans by a Heisman-winning QB. Even writing that seems surreal. If we win, I will be elated beyond compare and will cherish the memory until I die. If we lose, I will be heartbroken.

I remember it as well. The most bitter, haunting, galling night of my life as a sports spectator and fanatic. I recall stumbling down Poydras after the game while Bama ghouls frolicked and shouted "New Orleans is ours!"
I woke up the next morning in my hotel room still incredulous, wondering if it had been real.
I was furious.
But I will be even more heartbroken and despondent if this particular team loses the NC in New Orleans.
