We eviscerated them. I remember thinking we’d use TS home advantage and win a tight one, something like 17-13. That VT team went on to win the orange bowl.

Except for 2011 which would've gone down as the best team ever if not for a freak upset in Ames, Iowa.

‘08 just completely ruined Miles due to Perrilloux being dismissed and Miles’ lack of Qb recruitment after that.
08 defense was division II garbage that year. How do we go from winning a NC to that.

This game was probably the most enjoyable game ever for me watching in TS. Night game + High End Opponent + total beatdown = AWESOME DAY
Yeah I rather watch beatdowns than nail biters like Aub and Fla ‘07.
These days half the stands would be empty by the 3rd quarter for games like Va Tech

If you can’t tell the difference between Crowtons offense and Cam’s offense your just aren’t watching the games.

Les was castrated offensively after the abortions in 08 and 09. He resorted to 1970s football and never recovered.
as far as offense ... Les was never a fan of OFFENSE.
He played Defense and hoped to score more than the other team....it was unusual for long passes down the field in most years.
