My wish is simple, wear the traditional white shirts, gold pants at home games. Keep with the tradtion. The black unis would, imho, look pretty cool. BUUUUUTTTTT, black is not one of LSU's colors so I say nay. The goobers that have been ridiculing you are just that, goobers. Keep the skin thick, this board is chock full of those types.

Good idea though.

I like the traditional uniforms and noted the other night how great the purple jerseys look. FWIW, I think I like them better than white.

For fun though, could someone create and post a pic with gold helmets and purple jerseys/purple pants? Perhaps if I saw it, it might not look as good as I think it would.

no, no, no, no, not ever, ever, ever. we have one of the most classic uniforms in college football, and if i had my way we wouldn't have put the tiny LSU on the front, and we would never wear purple (no matter how good it looks on tv) ever. let the fans buy purple, gold, black, pink, and chartreuse jerseys. but let the team wear the white jerseys and let that brand image of LSU as timeless and permanent, be imprinted on the minds of every college football fan in every corner of america.

No one involved with the LSU program would EVER sign off on a black uniform, let alone seriously consider the notion.

And you know this for sure how?.........Exactly, you don't know.

Additionally, not once in the history of this team have the players worn black, likely because it's NOT EVEN AN OFFICIAL COLOR.

Then why did the team wear black wind jackets for the NC celebration 2 years ago?

Finally, and most importantly, it would look ugly and stupid.

In your opinion, not necessarily someone else's. Just stop being a douchebag.

Somebody said something about LSU needing to sport B&W Uniforms, to which I replied (something to the effect of) "Sure. Okay - But the refs are going to want to wear this:

know this idea has been tossed around for a long time, but I would like to see LSU have an all black uniform and keep all the same stripes even the yellow helmet. Has this been altered yet? I have seen all diff. types of uniforms but never an all black out...

I just found out what happens when you try to and at the same time.

Hey little boy, do you still live at home with your parents? I'd like to come over and slap both of them for producing someone that actually wants LSU to wear black jersey's and pants with the same yellow helmet. You need to get together with Beavis and go find some toilet paper so yall can wipe each others bungholes.......
