A big reason why the yards allowed per attempt was down on passing is because teams ran all over us.
No need to pass when you can hand off and go over tackle, or up the middle or pull a guard, etc etc.

Total offense = passing+ rushing. What if the rushing was part of passing? Would that impact yards per play? So if we threw a bunch of plays that were pop passes or quick passes behind the LOS as part of an extension of the run game, then wouldn’t that make a difference in yards per play?
