Yes, it's well worth $65 when you consider that you get free parking at Gilligan's which has over 1,000 parking spaces, free food, beer, seating inside but also tented misted seating outside, free food & beer, a DJ, and free shuttle to and from the game. In addition to that, all proceeds from the tailgate party go to our scholarship fund for Dallas-area kids who want to go to LSU.

As of noon today these are the tickets we have left.
We have a block of 50 tickets left that are located in a large LSU Tigers section. Seats are on the TCU side. 50 tickets are available as individual tickets for $125.00 or as a package with a Tailgate Party ticket for $185.00 each
We have 24 tickets available in the lower 200-Section. $300.00 each + $65.00 for the tailgate party ticket.

Embassy Suites DFW South has extended its offer on the room block to August 21. RV Fans - there are RV spots available at this hotel. TIGER FANS please be aware that the new NFL GameDay regulations concerning bags, purses and backpacks also apply to the Cowboys Classic.
ALLOWED IN:
Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags (Ziploc or similar)
Small clutch purses approximately the size of a hand, with or without handle or straps can be taken into the stadium with one of the clear plastic bags
An exeption will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose
You can carry items allowed into the stadium such as binoculars, cameras, smart phones
PROHIBITED ITEMS include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, seat cushions and luggage of any kind, computer bags (really who does work at an LSU game?), camera bags, or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Thanks for the group putting all this together. I took advantage of the hotel deal. Does it look like there is going to be a good turnout for the tailgate party. It's a great deal, but knowing little about Cowboys stadium will there be plenty of other fans at this tailgate party with? And you guys will have a will call set up for tailgate party tickets right?

We had over 1,800 people at the tailgate party for the Oregon game two years ago and expect a huge crowd for this one as well.
Yes, we will have a "Will Call" booth at Gilligan's Bar & Grill where the tailgate party is.
Also, SPECIAL NOTICE ... Directions to J. Gilligans's (for the Tailgate Party): If coming from the east, take I-30 to Center Street exit; go South on Center; make a left onto E Abrams and follow the signs to J. Gilligan's. If coming from the west, take I-30 to Cooper Street exit; go South on Cooper; make a left on W Abrams and follow the signs to J. Gilligan's; W Abrams becomes E Abrams at the Center Street intersection. WILL CALL will be on the north side of the street at the Tarrant County Clerk's Office (Jeffries and Abrams) and then J Gilligan's will be on the south side of the street at 400 Abrams. DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS!! If you follow GPS it will take you in front of Cowboys Stadium - the biggest TRAFFIC JAM in the country hours before the game. You have been warned !!

As of this morning we have 10 left on LSU side that we are offering with our Tailgate Party, section and seats unknown at this time. Cost is $195 for the package.
We have 56 left on the TCU side, where there will be a huge group of LSU fans (probably more Tigers than Frogs) that are $125 ea. in sections 406, 407, 408 and 417.
We also have 20 $300 tickets in sections 202 & 218.

We have 9 from Bunkie headed to J. Gilligans. We did it in 2011 and had a blast. I don't care for Miller Lite though and that is what they had for the $65.00
