LSU is the WORST SEC basketball school. It's an embarrasment to walk in the PMAC and see 1,200 people.

It really doesn't.
LSU played UCONN on January 6th, 2007 and 1,400 students went to the game. That fills up a good part of the student section.
It would have been a little higher if LSU was in school but it shows that if there's a big game or the team's good students would show up during the break.

I understand that we obviously haven't been that great recently, but it's gotta be depressing as a player to walk into an SEC arena with crazy diehards for football and baseball and see 10000 empty seats. We're 2-1 in conference as of now (certainly better than what many would have thought), people just need to show up, go insane like LSU fans normally do, and see what kind of results we get.

I'm a self admitted bandwagon LSU hoops fan. Honestly, I Can't stand basketball, so I consider the few games I go to me "supporting" the team. The Nicholls game was by far the worst I had ever seen, I had a whole section to myself and to top it off..we lost. Haven't been to a game since. Might go Sat. if I'm not hunting.

who cares? Surely we can get 10 or 11K in the PMAC for a game on a Saturday. We need to fill the place up.

Even in 2006 when people knew about halfway through the season that we had a team with a shitload of potential the crowd support wasn't what it should have been.

at least there were 9-10K at those games. I just hope some people go. They need to open it up to 5 dollar tickets to anyone who wants in. frick it.

da frick??? the last thing the driveman wanted to do aafter a friday night mind BENDER at freggies was to get up for a 2PM LSU basketball game.
first you gotta get up and make sure you didn't lose anything, then KICK the sorostitute out of your house, THEN find something to eat without realizing there's much better games on CBS anyway. not happening brother

becuase there hasn't been an SEC game during the school year yet 
but yes it sucks but I've been to all but 2 games so far this year so I support my team
