Don't know about yesterday, at work so wasn't there and couldn't watch the game, but at the Troy game last year they were rocking and rolling!! Student section had it going on and were holding up their end of our fan base for sure.

The band doesn't have a choice on whether or not to pull songs...it comes from the chancellor.

only heard people booing JLee in the greek section which I had to sit in because it took so freaking long to get in the stadium. was happy so many stayed despite the weather.

What does the student section say in 'hey baby'? Because in the band we can't hear the 'you suck' or anything in oweo

1. No one cares what a freshman in band has to say
2. Why ruin the fun? The band directors don't care what the SS says, it's the chancellor. So the band keeps playing the songs til we get the no from the big guy

"Heyyyyyyy baby*....I wanna know (KNOW!), will you be my bitch?" (instead of "will you be my girl")
Exchange baby with the other team's name occasionally. For example a lot of them were saying hey Vandy.

Ha nice..yesterday wad only my third game so things are still new to me...but seriously from the band, we couldn't hear anything inappropriate at all, not saying anything was said.

Went back and reread the Revielle article on the topic....it looks like it is taken off of the band rotation forever now.
Congrats, I hope you are proud in your contribution of destroying an element of gameday just because you have zero self control.
