We won the Auburn game. What the refs did in retroactively overturning the outcome of the game was unprecedented.
And they were wrong for doing so. If the game ended they should have blown the play dead before the snap. They didn't . The ball was snapped and LSU scored the game-winning touchdown.
And let's not forget that the only reason it even came down to the Birmingham refs needing to change the outcome after the game was decided was because the Auburn clock operators left it running after Dupre's catch where he ran out-of-bounds (which should have stopped the clock). They also let 2-3 seconds elapse after every LSU first down that drive too.
LSU fans should still be pissed off about the officiating and clock operating in that game.
But because Les was fired, we turn a blind eye to a game we won that was literally stolen and the outcome overturned retroactively.
Tennessee got shafted against Florida by UF clock operators in 2015.
It's time the ten non-Alabama schools who care about football do something about this. I for one have has enough of officiating always benefitting the other team in big games against the Alabama schools (and for Tennessee both Alabama and Florida).
