Academics are what you make of it. We didn't sacrifice anything.
If you want to look at resumes, Clemson hasn't done shite. 0-2 against their only 2 reasonable opponents. 2 wins against teams with winning records. 1 is Ball St., the other is 7-5 NCST who lost to Tennessee by 14.
The only reason you are here is because of a soft schedule. We are here because we came up short against the national champion, sugar bowl champion, AND the SEC dropped us to their #6 bowl.
Don't act like we are on the same level. Clemson hasn't been relevant since 1981.

we are 0-2 against good opponents but you guys are 2-2 against good opponents, you had 4 games to get 2 wins. not our fault the acc was so down this year. va tech and miami and gtech are usually better than this year.
clemson was beating the heck out of our opponents, you guys were hanging on to beat auburn, ole miss, ark, not any better than acc schools this year.

Don't act like playing in the SEC is an advantage. Clemson had to get up 2 times 9 weeks apart and they'd be playing ND. However, they folded as that has become their reputation.
Winning is winning. Ole Miss is as good a win as any Clemson has had. I don't recall Clemson Auburn being a blowout either.

reality is it's a lot easier to go to the title game if you are sec team than if you are acc, cuz acc can't lose even 1 game. u should know this better than anybody b/c bama didn't win their division and they got a rematch with you in the title game which wasn't fair to you, you split with them on the season but they get the title b/cc they won the 2nd one.
if fsu hadn't lost to nc state and florida, they probably still don't make the title game over bama. it is sec bias.

It's incredibly hard to go through the SEC undefeated or with one loss. That's why Bama got to the title last season.
Going through the ACC undefeated would be much easier. There are 5 teams in the SEC that would have gone undefeated with Clemson's schedule.
FSU wouldn't have deserved to make it over one loss Bama anyway. Teams should be rewarded for getting up every week, not once or twice. Trying to get through an SEC schedule is absolutely not an advantage.

reality is, even if you play in a sorry conference, your team is probably going to play like crap in at least one game and just have some bad luck with tipped ball interceptions, muffed punt returns, etc. reality is lsu would have lost at least one game if they played clemson's schedule this year. clemson lost to sc this year is more pyschological than anything right now cuz clemson isnt use to losing to sc very often.

I've never seen a group as helpless as Clemson right now. That dial tone of mediocrity has no inflections at all. LSU will merely reiterate what Clemson fans already know about their football program.
