I believe your buddy is the one with his facts all screwed up. Every year A&M and LSU are within a couple of places in the Directors cup. So I believe it is you that doesn't have his facts straight. I'm not the one proclaiming my athletics program to be ">>>>>>>>>>>" better than LSU's.

Seems like quite a few points came from track. Remind me where you got your coach? Guess you have to import winning tradition in this case. Or in the case of football, export the Bear and Gene Stallings. Or imply that standing room only tickets were returned.

The reason those seats were created is because A&M promises any student who wants to attend a football game a ticket. It's the same reason they bring chairs onto the field for yall's home game sellouts. Don't imply what's not true.

non-BCS games are irrelevant, kiddo

They're all irrelevant except the NCG. Calling it the "Bowl Championship Series" is one of the great overhyped lies of all time. It's that game, and then a whole lot of revenue generators for schools and their conferences.

This argument makes absolutely zero sense. Remind me again where you got your coach from again? So hiring a coach somehow discounts our success?

I spoke with the LSU ticket office. They said that all of the students who requested tickets got them. There was not much interest in standing room tickets. In fact, according to the students I have talked with at LSU, this game ins not generating that much interest. Having said that, the LSU fan base is one of the top three in the nation and they will show up.

Aggies have become a joke for always touting the school's Directors Cup Standings and academics during football debates. It's pathetic.

Look, if you want to say that our football program has been a joke for the past 10 years. Fine. I tend to agree. However if you want to spout off with how our "Athletic" program is a joke, then I'm going to site our Directors Cup standing which takes into account a schools entire athletic program.
If our athletic program is a joke, then what exactly does that make your program.

We develop championships here instead of buying them after the fact. So, yes

By your logic, I can discount every single championship ever won by anyone? I mean they had to be hired from somewhere right?

Yeah, cause field hockey, volleyball, water polo, crochet, and animal husbandry bring in the big bucks.

My point is that a big difference in last year's directors cup versus the previous 15 was the contribution of a coach that built a dynasty at LSU. It wasn't something created at A&M. That's all. In that sense, I'm not discounting it, but it certainly is ironic.

Seriously. Do you care for any of your teams outside of football, basketball and baseball? Are you the guy that streaks at the water polo matches?

Let's just stick with the facts:
Series: LSU leads 26-20-3
Directors Cups: LSU leads 15-2
Perfect attendence at yell practice: A&M leads

I think both Tigers and Aggies can agree the majority of this thread is straight-up retarded.
