you have to factor in the game that the coaches will blow for us also...i say 7-5 or 8-4 at best. hope for better, but we lost 2 when we won NC. don't see us only losing two games next year with the schedule, new offensive scheme/coach possibly, the loss of senior leadership, les miles

LSU should be top 2 in terms of talent next year and we'll have quite a bit of experienced players, but the past two seasons have me shying away from lofty predictions.

8-4 or 9-3 next year with no major improvements to the program. The program either continues to slide or stays static for several years.

As do I, read my next line. It's really disappointing that Bama went undefeated while we have 3 losses. It would be hard to argue coaching is what sets Alabama apart from LSU.

Games where the other team will be favored and probably win: Alabama, Florida, Arkanasas.

Games where LSU may be favored but the other team is in fact better: Tennessee, Ole Miss

Games that are legitimate toss ups:
MSU, Auburn, North Carolina, West Virginia

Games that LSU should win:
MCNeese, ULM, Vanderbilt

So, I see LSU going anywhere from 3-9 to 7-5.

I would predict that they'd go 2-2 in the tossup games and go 5-7.

With the personnel losses LSU will have, 8-4 will be a stretch. Schedule is more difficult next year as well.

Out of curiosity, what do you see with Tennessee that makes you call a split?

Call it a feeling. I think they are going to improve but it hinges on thier QB. I think the guys they are losing are going to be replaced with much better talent. Thats just my opinion.

LSU is most likely the third most talented team in the SEC next year. Still, no way in hell LSU escapes next year with one or two losses. You haven't been watching the last two seasons.

LSU is Georgia in the Donnon years.

wrong. you cannot compare miles record with Donnon's. you PRESUME miles didn't have to coach his first 4 years and just got lucky. miles is light years better than donnon. might be better than richt too, based on his record this year.

Richt has the same affliction as Miles. Propensity to hire crappy coordinators, rely on them and raw talent to carry you over.

This affliction is usually fatal, I pray that a vaccine is developed this offseason and Miles is cured of this once terminal malady.

I think we go 8-4 (4-4 in the SEC) with losses to Alabama and Florida (a yearly thing, get used to it)

Of course 2 more SEC loses from either Tenn., Ole Miss, Arkansas, Auburn, or Miss State(not likely but they could pull off an upset like they almost did this year). I just can't see Les being able to win more than 3 of these games. These teams are getting better and LSU is not.

This season has been a great learning experience for the entire team, especially the returning players.

With another year of coaching and a new OC, I say they go 11-1. The one loss is to Arkansas!!!

Geaux Tigers

With the right OC I still think only 10-2 is realistic. Now if that new OC can develope JJ in the off season to reach his full potential.........then 11-1 and a shot at the NC wouldnt suprise me either.

SEC west is going to be strong next year. Auburn and Tennessee will be vastly improved, LSU loses a lot of talent.

Just stop.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Do you not realize all the talent? We will be stronger next year on Defense than we were this year. Offense things will only get better with a bigger and more experience line, more experience QB, all the WR talent we have and a few damn good RB that want their shot to prove they deserve their time on the field.

Dude, please quit posting. You can't actually think you're a rational objective observer with that prediction, can you?

Even if we somehow, someway actually end up 5-7, it's still got to be the absolutely most idiotic prediction I've ever seen on this board.

My apologies if you were joking, which you must have been, right?
