There are rumors that Brick is being considered by both aTm as an position coach I guess DL and MSU as a DC. If he is hired away Caoch O fits in.

I still can't believe that Miles brought BDP back. Alleva should've never allowed that. We desperately need some new blood on the coaching staff. They've gotten old and stale.

Miles is truly retarded if he doesn't want haley gone to get O. It also could cost us CP. IMO we need to let a guy like clancy bring in the people he wants.
If keeping haley cost us CP and Coach o and we ended up with a shite hire like steele that would be devastating.

Yea i have no clue how more noise wasn't raised when Miles brought back that arse clown BDP. He managed to destroy the d in 08 and then destroy special teams this year. He is completely useless

I really don't know. My best guess is that the reason for the hold up is that we are waiting to see what happens with Haley.

Pendergast and O is the best possible combination for LSU. The staff needs a big time shake up. Yaw Yaw recruiting alone beats any other combination. I really fear Haley holding this up staying and we either promote BDP or hire Steele. This dc hire is extremely important, we either climb back into competing for titles or we get knocked down to the basement.

It would probably be easier to let a guy leave then have to fire him. Miles may want him to go but because he could get hired away he will let him have that happen instead of firing him.
IDK. It''s still early in this whole thing.
Personally I think 4 to 1 odds on Steele is just stupid.

I wouldn't say he destroyed our special teams this year. Field goals definitely fell off, but we were 2nd ok the nation in yards/KR and like 30ish in yards/KR.
Now our punt coverage team sucked at times.
Peveto is a step down from our previous ST coach, though.

Miles doesn't like firing people. The only coach that was actually fired was for recruiting violations. I agree it is early but I feel like to save our recruiting class we need to move fast on getting CP and O in here.

If this is true, then I'm really worried about Miles' ability to see past the fact that Steele is his buddy. Surely, there must be someone better qualified. This hire would be a disaster.
